My first week in the class.

First week of College Eng-51 class 1240. Wow, that sounds important, but just wait until I complete this work of art. Can I say that? Anyway, it is quite the experience to start this stage of my life. Hard, but never the less rewarding in what it will encompass.

Can you imagine needing a dictionary all the time? That's what happens when you work out of a certain environment. If I had one weakness in my life, it would be spelling. I just never do much writing but this is changing fast. Over the years I have increased in word usage with e-mail and such. Always seem to use the wrong word or meaning. I know that I can change this just by applying myself, and not the spell checker.

My other class is Algebra 54, and it is just as hard. I didn't think any of my classes would be hard, but in this class a lot of the other students didn't thing they could pass at the beginning. As with most classes, once you get a grasp of and can review what you already know it’s not all that bad. This one is hard, and takes a lot of study time for me. I just want to be good in the basics so it can carry me in all my future classes.

I can see what they mean by carrying the class. The more credits you carry, the more books you carry. They can be quite heavy with all the other thing you need to have. Make sure you can have everything you will need like a laptop, binders and such.

We can hardly wait until next week to see what happens. The first week was fun, finding all the places on campus, crashing all the classes (going to a class and trying to get in), registering and getting the books. Now let’s see if the classes get harder, I know they will. It’s kind of like putting a pint of mike in glass.
