Places I've been

For my second act, I was asked to write about places I’ve been. I think went something like, “Have you ever been to a museum, concert, theater, library, or bookstore.” Actually I read my notes, and yes, that’s what I need to do. I think this is one of the easiest ones I’ve had yet, well not really.
I can say that when it came to concerts, I’ve been to a few. Not as many as most, but a few. The first one I ever went to was Alice Cooper, way back in the sixties when I was about 12 or so. It was one of the strangest things I ever experienced. Not a bad thing, in fact one of the best things that had ever happened to me at that age. I really found out a lot about what teens and older were doing and the sixties movement, just when it was transitioning into something other than being a hippie.

I’ve been to many museums in my life; it was a great pastime when I was in the service. I can’t really list them all here, because I just can’t remember them all. I’ve been to Palm springs, more than one in Los Angeles, and others in the state. San Diego is a nice place for them.

I live at book stores; so much so that I have the Barns and Noble card, and boarders sends me discounts every week. Last year alone I spent well over $500 on books, but a lot of them were to learn a language. That’s another story all together, but one small note is, if they say that you cannot learn this language out of a classroom environment, then you probable cant.
