A small book review (not a summary)

I just finished the book, “The Gospel of Inclusion,” written by Bishop Carlton Pearson. What a great book to read, but I’ll give you a little warning. This is not for someone who is a strong Christian, and belongs to a church that might not see his views. Someone who reads this, needs an open mind, and probable be able to make decisions for themselves.

I can’t really make up my mind on this, but I will tell you this. With almost anything in writing, to make something believable, there needs to be truth. A lot of what he says is very true, and you would have a hard time with an argument. My argument, as it is with most who quote scripture is this. If you quote from the bible, please put into context of the paragraph that it comes from. Not just one line from the paragraph. I do take up a lot of his views, and can go along with most of what he says. At the end, when he gives his closing statements, he isn't talking the same as for almost the whole book. He gets a little bent by what people have done to him, but I really don't know what he was expecting.

It is a short read and even though I’m slow, read it fairly quickly. I actually started it in book form, and changed to an electronic format with the Sony E-Book with 400 pages in print, and 800 on the e-book.

Well if you do read this book, let me know what you think. As I said, this is a great book, but if you’re studying English, you might find some minor errors, like on my blog.
